We have a secured two outstanding panellists for our Industry Live on April 2: Drew Beswick , CEO of Oak Possability and Fiona Huskinson, Senior Workforce & Industry Development Officer at ACSA (Aged and Community Services Australia).

This is a FREE Industry Live career awareness event for students in grades 6-12.

Fiona Huskinson works for ACSA who are the leading national peak body supporting not for profit and for purpose providers of retirement living, community, home and residential care for more than 450,000 older Australians.

Fiona’s role with ACSA is as their Senior Workforce & Industry Development Officer and she works to connect young people with work experience opportunities and information to help kick start their career within the industry.

Fiona has a wealth of knowledge about pathways to a career in aged and community services and is excited to speak to us about the rewarding roles available.

Joining Fiona is Drew Beswick. Drew is the CEO of Oak Possability. Oak Possibility has been a leading provider of disability services for over 30 years, operating in Tasmania and Victoria. The organisation is committed to enriching people’s quality of life and supporting skill development.

Drew will talk to us about the latest developments in the disability sector, which is a growth area, and the potential for lots of different careers.

Join Beacon Foundation online for Industry Live, a series of live career awareness and exploration events via video conference. We invite expert industry panellists to share their stories, top tips for success, and answer questions from school students across Australia in a discussion led by a facilitator. Industry Live is open to all students across Australia in Years 6-12.
