Lani has an extensive history in community service and the performing arts.
As a Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) trained actor, he is passionate about using performance-based tools to help young people develop creativity, resilience and self-confidence.
Lani’s work as a High Impact Program facilitator is informed by professional experience in counselling, supporting young people, the LGBTQI+ community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, refugees and those at risk of homelessness.
Story-telling and narrative are two of Lani’s favourite ways to foster connection with young people and bring High Impact Program content to life.
