Rebecca is fond of telling the students in her workshop, ‘Wherever possible, do something you’re passionate about’ – which is why she counts herself lucky to be the Facilitation and Training Manager for the Beacon Foundation! In the time Rebecca has been with Beacon Foundation, her roles have included Lead Facilitator, Student Engagement Officer and more recently, Facilitation and Training Manager. The absolute joy of her role has been the incredible engagement and connection she has with the inspiring students she meets.
Rebecca is passionate about the art of great communication and the way in which communication, networking, building self-belief and establishing a strong personal brand can create real opportunities for young people. In her previous working life, Rebecca was an actor and a teacher. The skills she has been able to transfer from her past work experiences along with her passion for supporting positive pathways for young Australians have meant that Rebecca can truly model the message: Do a job you love!
