IPH has today announced a flagship community partnership with Australian not-for-profit organisation Beacon Foundation. The partnership is the first-of-its-kind for IPH, with the Group committing $500,000 over a five-year period to support Beacon Foundation in fulfilling its mission of improving educational and employment outcomes for young Australians.

“The Growth Industry Preparation Program (or GrIPP) shows students what opportunities there are for them in five of the fastest growing industries in Tasmania and today we’ve got 16 students from Brooks High School and Prospect High School learning about the amazing range of different careers in the renewable energy sector,” Mr Harris said.
Today, students have visited three remarkable farms in the Derwent Valley – Glenelg Estate, Curringa Farm and Hansen Orchards. There are huge opportunities in farming and we see it as one of the five biggest growth areas in Tasmania along with building and construction, tourism and hospitality, advanced manufacturing, aged and community service.
